Hatchets And Beer? Axe-Throwing Spot Coming To Bucks Co.

Stumpy's Hatchet House in Bristol Township is currently under construction and scheduled to open this fall, owners say.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Does the concept of knocking back a few beers and slinging axes with your buddies sound appealing? If so, you're in luck — a new spot in Bucks County is going to let you do just that.

Stunpy's Hatchet House plans to open its doors this fall at 1501 Grundy Ln. in Bristol Township.

Its owners, Mike Keeley and Jennifer Runyon, were both customers of the original Stumpy's Hatchet House opened in 2016 in Eatontown, N.J. The 10,000-square-foot facility will have 11 axe-throwing pits for patrons to hone their skills.

Owners promise it's a safe and controlled environment where they hope to host parties, team-building exercises and the like. Patrons can bring their own beer and food, which they'll be able to enjoy between tosses in common areas filled with farm tables and furniture designed to give the place the feel of a cabin in the woods.

Patrons must be 21 years or older to enter the facility.
