BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Have you seen the new highway billboards?

Raising the Bar — in partnership with Visit Bucks County — has launched a highway billboard program.

The slogans came from suggestions that stemmed from a Facebook poll that Raising the Bar ran a few months ago.

The slogans and graphics were settled upon after input and design suggestions from Visit Bucks County, Visit Philly, Interstate Signs, and public input.

Raising The Bar said that a third sign — "Bristol Borough, Your Table Is Ready" — is in production and will feature the slogan and a collage of outdoor dining images.

Raising The Bar said that the initiative was launched for several reasons:

  • To get people to Bristol Borough in general. (Once here, they can decide where to go.)
  • To convey the general positive impression that Bristol Borough has enough mojo to launch a billboard campaign.
  • To contribute to a sense of community pride.

"We will work to attract and assist retail shops to the street to add to the shops the borough already have," Raising The Bar said. "Recently, that is starting to happen, and we look forward to a billboard campaign focused on retail shopping."
