MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Bridge repair on Interstate 295 will begin on Monday and last throughout the week, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said bridge repair will occur at night this week on Interstate 295 in Middletown Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov. 22, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Friday, Nov. 22, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single-lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
