Lane Closures On Route 13 Expected For Next Two Weeks

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Periodic lane closures are expected over the next two weeks as PennDOT conducts line striping on Route 13 in several communities starting Monday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that line striping and sign installations will begin Monday under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel through the work areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7.5 million project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
