Here's What Could Replace Toys 'R' Us In Langhorne
Developers are asking for zoning variances that would allow a four-story hotel and a car wash on the roughly 5-acre property.

LANGHORNE, PA — The former site of the Toys 'R' Us in Langhorne could become a hotel and a car wash, according to documents filed with Middletown Township zoning officials.
Earlier this year, the Toys 'R' Us at 2345 E. Lincoln Hwy. was one of many stores shuttered as the company went through a wave of closures and was liquidated. Now, developers are asking for zoning variances that would allow a four-story hotel and a car wash on the roughly 5-acre property.
The variance requests were filed by a company called 2345 Lincoln ABC LLC, out of Hamilton, N.J. The Middletown Zoning Hearing Board will consider the requests at its meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

They ask for permission to put a hotel in what is otherwise an office-campus district, for lenience in the township's 100-foot setback requirement and other variances.
Middletown's notice of the Wednesday meeting does not say which chain the hotel would be a part of or give a company name for the car wash. Middletown zoning officials did not immediately respond to an email seeking more details for this story.
