LEVITTOWN, PA — A Levittown man has been arrested after police say search warrants at his home, and a stash house in Bristol, yielded large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine and pills, more than $8,000 in cash and two handguns.

Christopher Michael Neuber, 40, is charged with a list of crimes including possession of drugs with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm.

On Thursday, Bucks County detectives executed two search warrants — one at Neuber's home on Yellowood Drive and another at a home which investigators described as a stash house in Bristol.

At the residences, detectives say they found large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and multiple prescription medications. They also say they found $8,800 in cash and two handguns, one at Neuber's Levittown home and one at the Bristol stash house.

They also say they searched Neuber's car and found a plastic bottle with a hidden compartment containing meth, cocaine and pills.

According to a police affidavit, Neuber told officers he kept the gun at his home to protect himself and his family because "he knows that selling drugs is dangerous." The one in Bristol was given to him as collateral by a drug customer, he said, according to the affidavit.

Investigators say they found that gun and drugs in a safe at the Bristol home. Neuber, according to police, told detectives the residence is a friend's home and that he gives the friend methamphetamine in exchange for letting him keep the safe there.

Because Neuber was previously convicted of a felony, it was illegal for him to have the handguns, detectives said.

According to the police affidavit, Neuber told detectives he's unemployed and was selling drugs to about 30 people in Bucks County to pay his bills. They say he told them he had been using two runners to deliver the drugs for him, but had started making the deliveries himself after one of the runners stole from him and the other was arrested.

Neuber was being held at Bucks County Jail after being unable to post 10 percent of a $250,000 bail.
