Levittown Voter Guide 2023: Who's On Ballot, Where To Vote

LEVITTOWN, PA —The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7, and residents of Levittown will soon be able to cast their votes for state, county, judicial, local, and school board races.

The election technically has already begun, as mail-in votes have started to return to Lower Bucks County.

For the general election, residents vote for contested and uncontested races.

Who is on the ballot?

Bucks County Coroner

Bucks County will have a new coroner after incumbent Meredith Buck was defeated in the May 16 primary election.

Republican Charles Stockert, a former deputy coroner and police chief, faces Democrat Patti Campi.

Stockert seeks to improve staffing and service while also seeking accreditation for the coroner's office.

Campi is campaigning to share country-specific data regarding the opioid crisis and mental health issues faced by residents of Bucks County.

She defeated Bucks County Coroner in the May 16 primary election for the Democratic party nomination.

Bucks County Commissioner

For County Commissioner, there is also a contested race on the Republican ticket for two seats with Republicans Pamela A. Van Blunk and incumbent Gene DiGirolamo running against Democratic incumbents Robert Harvie and Diane Ellis-Marseglia.

Magisterial Judge 07-01-10 (Falls Township)

State Rep. John Galloway is running unopposed, having cross-filed for a six-year term as Magisterial Judge 07-01-10.

Municipal Races

Falls Township Supervisors

Supervisors Erin Mullen and Brian Galloway are seeking re-election for two, six-year terms against Republican Joan M. Graves.

Bristol Borough Mayor

Mayor Ralph DiGuiseppe III is running unopposed as a Democrat for one, two-year term.

Bristol Borough Council

  • North Ward —Bryan Johnson is running unopposed as a Democrat for one, four-year term.
  • East Ward —Greg Pezza is running unopposed as a Democrat for one, four-year term.
  • West Ward —Lee Cousin is running unopposed as a Democrat for one, four-year term.
  • South Ward —Louis Quattrocchi is running unopposed as a Democrat for one, four-year term.

Bristol Township Council

Democrats Patrick Antonello and Joseph Glasson and Democrat/Republican Maryann Wagner are running unopposed for three, four-year terms.

Hulmeville Borough Council

Democrats Daniel N. Mandolesi and Jose Gonzalez are running against Republicans Joe McKairnes, Rebecca Krause, and Doug Edge for three, four-year terms.

Langhorne Borough Council

Democrat Timothy N. Harris Sr. and Republicans Bob Cumming and Kathleen Horwatt are running unopposed for three, four-year terms.

Langhorne Manor Borough Council

Democrats Alicia Gasparovic and Grace Judge and Republicans Phillip Gillies, Samuel R. Jennings and Nicholas Pizzola are running unopposed for five, four-year terms.

Penndel Borough Council

  • Democrats Francis P. Murphy and Robin L. Valentis are running unopposed for three, two-year terms.
  • Democrats Barbara Heffelfinger and Gary Nickerson are running unopposed for three, four-year terms.

Middletown Township Supervisors

Democrat Mike Ksiazek and Republican Adam Landman are vying for one, six-year term.

Tullytown Borough Council

David Pearl, Bryan Servis, and Joseph Shellenberger have cross-filed and are running unopposed for three, four-year terms.

School Board Races

Bristol Borough School District

Steven Cullen, Mary Jane Potena Paglione, Jeffrey Paleafico, Al Big Al Pirollo, and John Stiltner are running unopposed for five, four-year school board terms.

Bristol Township School District

  • Gallus Obert is running unopposed as a Democrat and Republican for one, two-year term.
  • Amanda Geist and Constance R. Moore are running as Democrats, Jailan Elsarha as a Republican, and Christopher Harkins, Donna Kelly, and Krystle Eakin-Chebly cross-filing on both party tickets for five, four-year terms.

Pennsbury School Board

(Tullytown, Falls Township)

Region 2 —School board members Jim Prokopiak (Democrat), Gary Sanderson (Republican), and Sherwood David Taylor III (Democrat/Republican) are being challenged by Donna Parto Abrescia (Democrat/Republican) for three, four-year terms.

Neshaminy School District

(Hulmeville, Penndel, Langhorne Boroughs / Langhorne Manor / Middletown Township)

Region 3 —Marty Sullivan has cross-filed to run for one, four-year term.

(Middletown Township)

Region 1 —School Board members Tina Hollenbach and Carlos Rodriguez, both Repubicans, are running for two, four-year terms against Democratic challengers Joan DeRosa and Wendy Flanigan.

Region 2 —School board member Paul Saraullo, a Republican, is running for re-election against Democratic challengers Jill Waldbieser and Beth Marshall and Republican Ryan Tierney for two, four-year terms.

Polls will be open for in-person voting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Drop-Box locations

Lower Bucks County has several absentee/mail-in drop boxes available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Sign and date and declaration on the outer envelope or your vote will not count.
