Lower Bucks Co. Rallies Around Shooting Victim's Family

A GoFundMe page has been launched to help the family of Taylor Daniel, one of three people killed during a shooting spree on Saturday.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A GoFundMe page has been launched to support a little girl whose mother was among three people fatally shot in Falls Township on Saturday morning.

Donna Patel, who organized the fundraiser on Sunday, is the center director of KinderCare Langhorne, attended by the 3-year-old daughter of 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of two children with shooting suspect Andre Gordon Jr.

Gordon is charged with 32 counts by Bucks County authorities, including three counts of first-degree murder, and three counts of second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Daniel, his stepmother, and his sister at two separate locations Saturday.

So far, the GoFundMe page has raised more than $15,000 of its $20,000 goal.

"This is truly a tragedy and a very heartbreaking situation for all of the family members involved, our community, and the staff at KinderCare Langhorne," Patel said.

Daniel placed a 911 call saying Gordon was at her door before her shooting death, authorities said, in providing how details of the shootings unfolded.

Gordon later was involved in a standoff in Trenton, N.J. before he was captured late Saturday afternoon. He is awaiting extradition to Bucks County.

Patel is hopeful the community can raise funds to pay for funeral expenses for Daniel and also help the two children.

"We would like to come together as a community to help this family in any way we can to support Nancy Daniel, the mother of Taylor Daniel, and (the girl) to the best of our abilities," Patel said. "Our hearts are broken and anything you could give to the families financially to help to support them at this tragic time would be greatly appreciated."
