Gordon appeared from the Mercer County Correction Center via video, did not enter a plea, and was represented by a public defender, NBC10 Philadelphia said.

He waived his right to contest his pretrial detention at the hearing, authorities said.

Manuel Gamiz Jr., director of communications for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, said he hopes Gordon will be extradited to Bucks County shortly to answer charges here. But no timetable has been given.

Gordon is set to have an extradition hearing on Wednesday.

Authorities said that Gordon forcibly broke into one home and killed his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, before going to another home and killing Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two children.

Gordon will have a preliminary hearing before District Justice John T. Galloway in Falls Township when he does return to Lower Bucks County to answer the charges.
