Made In The Shade: Bristol Twp. Spray Park Has Cover

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Municipal Park has it made in the shade this summer.

With the warm weather arriving, township officials want residents to have a place to chill out and cool off.

The Bristol Township Parks and Recreation Department said it listened to township residents and installed sun shades at the spray park.

The sun shade installation closed the park over the weekend, but it's back open as of Sunday.

The playground area is closed through Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Bristol Township Summer Concert Series opened Saturday with the Buzzer Band performing.

It's the first of four concerts scheduled here this summer at the beautiful Bristol Township Amphitheater.
