Man Guilty Of Repeatedly Raping Girl In Bristol Twp.
Carlos Navedo, of Bristol Township, was found guilty of raping the girl when she was 10 or 11 over a two-year period, authorities said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —A 52-year-old township man was convicted Wednesday of repeatedly raping a girl over a two-year period, authorities said.
Carlos Navedo, of Bristol Township, was found guilty by a Bucks County jury of rape of a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
The trial began on Monday.

Following the conviction, Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr scheduled sentencing for Jan. 30 after Navedo undergoes an evaluation from the Sex Offender Assessment Board.
The investigation found that Navedo raped the girl from January 2021 to December 2023.

The victim, who is now 13, testified on the first day of trial, saying she was 10 or 11 years old when Navedo first raped her.
She said he continued to sexually assault her on other occasions and also would show her pornography, authorities said.
Navedo was charged in January, following an investigation by Bristol Township Detective John Jennings.
