Man Threatened To Kill Woman At Lower Bucks Wawa: Police
Bristol Township Police have issued a warrant for a man charged with the kidnapping of a woman he met at the Wawa on Saturday.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bristol Township Police Department has issued a warrant for a man who tried to kidnap a woman at a Wawa on Bristol Pike last Saturday.
Bristol Township Police said that a woman said she was meeting the suspect around 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Wawa at 5900 Bristol Pike.
After a brief argument, the woman exited the suspect’s vehicle. She then forcefully returned after the man told her that he had a knife, and would kill her if she didn’t get into his vehicle, police said.

Police said the woman entered the vehicle under threat of violence and was taken to Bristol Borough, where she later escaped.
Police have identified the man as 46-year-old Richard L. Phillips.

He is charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, simple assault, harassment, and making terroristic threats.
