Man Who Drugged, Assaulted A Dozen Women In Bucks Co. Sentenced To Prison

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Andrew Gallo, a 41-year-old Bristol Township predator who systematically drugged and assaulted a dozen women over a six-year period, was sentenced on Wednesday to 65 to 135 years in state prison.

The sentence, handed down by Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Stephen Corr, follows Gallo’s no contest plea in December to more than three dozen offenses, including 10 felony counts each of rape of an impaired person and strangulation, and a felony drug charge.

In addition to the lengthy prison term, the court deemed Gallo a sexually violent predator, requiring him to register as a tier 3 offender for the remainder of his life.

The sentencing marks the conclusion of a investigation that revealed what prosecutors say was a calculated pattern of violence.

Between 2018 and 2024, Gallo targeted 12 women, ranging in age from 17 to 35, whom he met on different dating platforms. Luring them to his Copper Beech Lane home under the guise of a date, Gallo served the women alcoholic beverages spiked with a cocktail of illegal drugs to incapacitate them.

Many of the victims appeared in court on Wednesday, their presence a testament to the gravity of the crimes, said First Assistant District Attorney Kristin McElroy, who submitted the victims' impact statements to the court.

McElroy argued that Gallo should be sentenced for 12 distinct victims to reflect the individual trauma of each woman. She issued a stark warning that if Gallo had not been stopped, “this would have continued and additional victims would have fallen to this defendant.”

Upon handing down the sentence, Judge Corr described the facts of the case as “unspeakable,” telling Gallo, “You treated these women like trash.”

Judge Corr handed down individual sentences for each of the victims and ordered them to be served consecutively.

In delivering the prison term, Judge Corr said, “I believe each one of these women deserve justice.”

Gallo spoke on his own behalf during the proceedings, citing an addiction to drugs and sex. However, McElroy dismissed any notion of mitigating factors, including defense arguments regarding the nature of the dating websites or “kink.”

“The defendant took away these women's ability to consent when he gave them those drugs,” McElroy said. She described Gallo as a man who pretended to be a “charming, nice guy,” only to plunge his victims into the “stuff nightmares are made of,” leaving them humiliated and debased.

The investigation, led by the Bristol Township Police and Bucks County Detectives, utilized extensive search warrants and electronic record analysis to identify victims. Lab tests later confirmed that Gallo’s victims tested positive for methamphetamines, amphetamines, THC, or cocaine. Many women reported becoming violently ill, experiencing hallucinations, and losing consciousness.

After Gallo’s arrest in September 2024, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office held a news conference, which led to the discovery of additional victims.
