Merrill Reese Serving As Keynote Speaker Of Lower Bucks Chamber Event
The legendary Philadelphia Eagles announcer will speak at a chamber breakfast Thursday at Sesame Place.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The "Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles" will serve as the keynote speaker at a Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce event on Thursday.
The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Keynote Breakfast and Networking Program featuring legendary Philadelphia Eagles announcer Merrill Reese at Sesame Place in Middletown Township.
The event begins with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with the program from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Reese has served as the play-by-play “Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles” for 45 years.
He began his career at WPAZ in Pottstown and continued to WBCB in Levittown, where Reese is now part-owner and general manage.

Reese also spent 14 years as sports director of WIP and was selected by Philadelphia
Magazine as Philadelphia’s Best Sportscaster.
He was the play-by play voice of ESPN’s award-winning series “NFL Dream Season” in 1990, and has handled tennis play-by-play for Madison Square Garden Television in New York with Billie Jean King.
Reese was named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Association of Sportscasters and Sportswriters, and was selected Radio Broadcaster of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters and most recently into the Philadelphia Eagles Ring of Honor.
A graduate of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater, Reese was
inducted into the School’s Hall of Fame and honored with the Lew Klein Alumni in the
Media Award in 2001.
The event is free for LBCCC members.
