Middletown, Falls To Be Sprayed For West Nile Mosquitoes Wednesday
Parts of Middletown, Falls and Morrisville will be sprayed for mosquitoes on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Parts of Middletown, Falls and Morrisville will be sprayed for mosquitoes on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The Bucks County Mosquito Control Program is conducting the ultra-low volume spray operation to reduce high populations of mosquitoes capable of transmitting West Nile Virus.
The spray will begin at dusk and will include the following areas:
- In Middletown Township, the spray will include all of Forsythia Gate.
- In Falls Township, it will include the entirety of Vermillion Hills.
- In Morrisville Borough, the spray will include the Morrisville sewage treatment plant property.
The application material has a very low toxicity profile to mammals and will have negligible impact on non-target insects and the environment, according to information from the county.

If weather conditions do not allow application on August 30, then it will be done August 31.
