Middletown Planners To Consider Oxford Valley Mall Development
The proposal would bring roughly 600 apartments, in two buildings, to the mall property.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — Planning officials in Middletown will consider a proposed development on Wednesday that would put 600 apartment units on a property at Oxford Valley Mall.
The Middletown Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Middletown Municipal Building, at 3 Municipal Way. They'll be hearing from developers Cornerstone Tracy and Simon Properties, the owner of Oxford Valley Mall.
Cornerstone Tracy is seeking a rezoning that would allow them to build two apartment buildings at the mall. The development would be done in two phases, with the first building holding about 390 units and the second holding about 200-220. A timeline for the project depends on local government's approval, but Cornerstone Tracy says if all goes well, construction could start in about 18 months and the first phase would take about 2 1/2 years to build.
