New Pennsbury High School Gets $500K Grant
Construction crews are building a new consolidated Pennsbury High School targeted for opening for September 2029.
FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — As work progresses on building the new Pennsbury High School, some funding has come in to help support the project.
State Rep. Jim Prokopiak announced on Monday that a $500,000 state grant has been secured for the high school project.
The former Pennsbury School Board member said the grant will go to the construction of a consolidated, comprehensive high school facility.

Construction is underway on the new $269.5 million high school that will replace the current East and West high school campuses.
"I will always fight for our students, our teachers, and our schools; and I am very proud to have played a part in securing these funds for Pennsbury—alongside state Sen. Steve Santarsiero," Prokopiak said.

So far, the project remains on schedule for a September 2029 opening.
Construction crews recently were compacting the soil to prepare the foundation beneath the future Auditorium and Music areas.
Crews are excavated the stormwater drainage basin near the corner of Hood Boulevard and Queen Anne.
