LEVITTOWN, PA —The second Rita's Fruit Brew has arrived.
The Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company Friday debuted the second in its series of brews inspired by flavors from Bensalem-based Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.

The new Lemon is a pale golden ale brewed with 2-Row Malt, Flaked Oats, and White Wheat, making for a light base that allows the zesty lemon to shine through, the brewery said.
"Refreshingly crisp with a lively citrus flavor, Rita’s Fruit Brews - Lemon is a little sweet and just the thing to cool you off this summer," the brewery stated.
Rita’s Fruit Brews Lemon Ale is available at all three Neshaminy Creek locations in Croydon (cans and draft), Dublin (cans), and New Hope (cans) starting at noon on Friday.
Harvest Pizza and Moocheeze will be at the Croydon Brewery & Taproom Friday for the brew's introduction along with music and soft pretzels.
Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company said that Rita’s Fruit Brews - Lemon will also soon be available through distribution in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware.
And the Mango brew is also sticking around.
Rita’s Fruit Brews will be sold alongside Neshaminy Creek’s wide variety of handcrafted ales and lagers which have made the brewery a regional staple for over a decade.
Rita’s Fruit Brews will not be available in Rita’s shops.
“We’re thrilled to see Neshaminy Creek bring Rita’s to life in a new, exciting way for our adult fans,” said Linda Chadwick, chief executive of Bensalem-based Rita’s Licensing, LLC, said in April. “It is sure to be a staple for craft beer lovers and Rita’s adult fans alike.”
Earlier this year, Rita's announced that it would open 40 more stores and expand into Missouri, Illinois, and Texas. The privately owned and operated chain was founded in Bensalem Township in May 1984 by Bob Tumolo.
