BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — One more Wawa may be on its way to Lower Bucks County.

Developers have proposed a new Wawa convenience store with gas pumps at 5301 Bristol-Emilie Rd. in Bristol Township. The plans, which include knocking down four existing buildings, will be first considered by Bristol's zoning board next Monday.

The new Wawa is being proposed by Provco Pinegood Acquisitions LLC, based in Villanova.

According to plans submitted to the township, the group proposes a 5,585-square-foot store with 12 gas pumps. Four buildings — a car repair shop, a car wash an ice cream parlor and a carpet store — would be torn down to build the store.

The developers want to keep two buildings, a restaurant and an auto-parts store, on the 4.7-acre lot.

The zoning hearing board will consider the application during its meeting on Monday, July 8, at 7 p.m. at the Bristol Township Municipal Building.
