MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —The Oxford Valley Mall is welcoming some new additions.

While work progresses on apartments near the outside of the mall, the interior of the mall will be seeing a new sports apparel store, an eatery in the food court, and a dance studio, said Christopher Dudley, the mall's marketing manager.

"Some exciting things are happening at the mall," Dudley said of Bucks County's largest shopping destination, which boasts more than 150 stores at its location on 2300 E. Lincoln Hwy.

The studio named after the famed dance instructor will offer everything from beginners dance lessons, wedding dance lessons, ballroom dance lessons, and group classes.

Meanwhile, Dudley said that The Lighthouse, a Caribbean restaurant, will be opening in the food court this month.

JD Sports will be arriving sometime this fall, Dudley said.

The international sporting apparel and sneaker store has locations in New York, Paris, London, and Singapore besides local shops in the Willow Grove Mall and in Philadelphia.

Dudley said it will fill an 8,000-square-foot, first-floor space vacated by Go! Calendar and Games, which is moving to the second floor.

The store offers top-selling brands like Nike and Adidas. See its website for more information.

Meanwhile, a new apartment complex built by Cornerstone Tracy in a former section of the mall parking area is progressing.

Cornerstone Tracy, a Villanova-based developer of luxury apartment communities, is building 391 apartments as part of Phase 1 of a project that will add 223 additional apartments in Phase II.

Phase I is expected to be completed by March 2025.
