Penndel Man Attacked Girlfriend In Gas Station Fight: Police

PENNDEL, PA — A Penndel man was thrown in jail after police say he attacked his girlfriend and smashed her cellphone during an argument at a gas station.

Connor M. Robertson, 28, is charged with domestic assault, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief in a case from last month that police made public over the weekend.

Penndel Borough Police officers were called to Mill Creek Apartments on Robbins Avenue for an assault report. There, the victim told officers she'd confronted Robertson, her boyfriend, and accused him of cheating on her. She said they had an argument at the gas station at Durham Road and E. Lincoln Highway.

There, Robertson assaulted her and broke her cellphone, the victim said. Police watched surveillance video that, they say, shows him assaulting the woman and throwing her phone on the ground. He was arrested and charged.

Unable to immediately pay 10 percent of his $5,000 bail, Robertson was taken to Bucks County Jail.
