Students enrolled in 3D Design 1 with Mrs. Weber at Pennsbury High School created 3D illustrations using mixed materials and the additive sculpting process. Additive sculpting is the process by which separate parts are added individually to create a whole sculpture. The student's designs were based on characters from The Litterbug Chronicles, a series of children's books about recycling, written by local author and Pennsbury High School paraprofessional Kathleen Aviles. "Ms. Katie," as she is known, paid a visit to Weber's class to read the book and share her process of creating a children's book series.
