Pipe Flushing Will Close Green Lane Overnight Thursday

LEVITTOWN, PA —Motorists will need to use alternative routes Thursday evening and into Friday morning due to Green Lane's closure for construction, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that pipe flushing operations are scheduled on Green Lane in Bristol Borough and Bristol Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Thursday, July 20, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., Friday, July 21. Green Lane will be closed between Route 13 (Bristol Pike) and Wilson Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Radcliffe Street, Market Street, old Route 13, Mill Street, Bath Street and northbound Route 13.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
