Police Presence At Pennsbury High School After Student's Post
The Pennsbury schools superintendent sent an email to parents Friday morning as a precaution for a "concerning" social media post overnight.

FALLSINGTON, PA —The Pennsbury School District has asked for a police presence at its schools Friday morning following a student's social media post overnight.
Schools Superintendent Thomas E. Smith sent an email to parents that during the overnight hours, police investigated a "concerning social media post" made by a Pennsbury High School student.
The police identified and met with the individual who made the post, the superintendent said.

Smith said detectives do not believe there is any cause for concern. However, as a precautionary measure, we have asked for a police presence in and around the building during arrival.
The email was signed by Smith and Pennsbury High School Principal Reggie Meadows.

"As always, we are grateful for our partnerships with our local police departments," Smith said. "We truly appreciate their swift action in this case and their efforts to ensure our students and staff are safe."
