Report Card Access System Changing In Pennsbury School District
Starting Friday night, parents will be able to access grades through PowerSchool, the first system change in years, the superintendent said.

FALLSINGTON, PA —The Pennsbury School District is changing its system for accessing grades.
Schools Superintendent Thomas Smith announced, in an email to parents, that as of Friday evening, Nov. 18, the first marking period report cards will be available through PowerSchool.
"This is a change in practice from previous years (we are no longer using Home Access Center)," Smith said.

Over the next few years, the school district will begin to review our reporting and assessment practices with a focus on supporting the learning process, encouraging the success of all students, and ensuring student understanding of classroom material, Smith said.
"We are fortunate that we can undertake this important work because we have excellent teachers and educational professionals who work hard to support their students. We are also fortunate that our Board of Directors is committed to providing guidance that will ensure students are provided a fair, consistent, and equitable educational experience in our schools. I will share details as we work to improve the educational experience in Pennsbury," Smith said.
