ROTARY CLUB OF CENTRAL BUCKS POSTPONES 7TH ANNUAL RIDE FOR THE HEROES
Due to the impending storm forecasted for Sunday, June 5, The Rotary Club of Central Bucks has postponed the Ride For The Heroes and Picnic
The Rotary Club of Central Bucks has postponed their 7th annual motorcycle Ride For The Heroes and Picnic originally scheduled for Sunday, June 5, 2016. The event will be rescheduled for the fall to honor and raise funds to support veterans and families of fallen heroes.
Last year’s event was attended by more than 750 people and raised $35,000. To date, Ride For The Heroes has raised over $144,000 in support of veterans and the families of fallen heroes.
Members of the community also have a chance to honor a service member who is on active duty, retired or deceased, through a donation of $50.00. All veteran recognition submissions will be announced before the ride at the Garden of Reflection. A picnic follows the ride at 1:30 p.m. at the FOP Picnic Grounds, 82 Scott Road, Bedminster Township, Pa.
