Route 295 Lane Closure Begins Tuesday Night In Lower Bucks
The single-lane closure takes place between Route 413 and Business Route 1 in Bristol and Middletown townships, PennDOT said.

LEVITTOWN, PA —A lane closure is expected to start Tuesday evening for bridge deck repair on Route 295 in Bristol and Middletown townships, PennDOT has announced.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, through Friday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and/or westbound Interstate 295 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Business U.S. 1/Route 413 (Penndel/Levittown) interchanges in Bristol and Middletown townships.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $44.5 million bridge improvement project to perform high-priority repairs.
Repairs to the structures include replacing rocker bearings, frozen sliding plate bearings and deck expansion joints; cleaning and painting steel beams; repairing substructure concrete; and reconstructing bearing pedestals.
