Scouts From Troop 316 in Levittown Scout for Food

Boy scouts from Troop 316 helped the food insecure this holiday season with a 650 pound donation of non-perishable food items to the food pantry at Christ United Methodist Church.

As they have done in previous years, the scouts dropped a Scouting For Food bag at each of the over 200 homes in the Twin Oaks section of Levittown and returned a week later to collect the bags filled bags.

“ The families in Twin Oaks are very generous and our Scouts often get positive comments and thank yous as we go about the collection” said Pete Liptrot.
