Seniors Expo Scheduled In Levittown

LEVITTOWN, PA — An expo showcasing services available to seniors has been scheduled for next week in Levittown.

The expo, hosted by state Sen. Steve Santarsiero, will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at Levittown Fire Co. #1. The fire company is located at 701 Fallsington-Tullytown Road in Levittown.

More than 50 vendors will be in attendance. Exhibits and services offered will include a tai chi demo, Zumba Gold demo, chair yoga demo, SEPT fare card IDs, chair massages, presentations on fraud prevention, collection of old or expired drugs and a guest appearance by an Elvis impersonator.

Refreshments will be served.

Co-hosts for the expo include Independence Blue Cross, UPMC Health Plan, Shoprite of Yardley, Giant of Levittown, ACME of Levittown and Weis Markets.

"Our seniors have worked hard to raise families and build vibrant communities here," Santarsiero said. "This free expo is our opportunity to showcase the variety of services in our community to support them and their families."
