A 1997 Pennsbury graduate was killed Tuesday after being hit by a car in Trenton.
Lea Nicole Sterner Pringle, 39, of Lower Makefield was the mother of two children. Police are still searching for the driver of the car that struck Pringle on North Olden Avenue, according to NJ.com.
The publication reports that she was struck around 12:30 a.m. and was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital in Trenton.

Lea Nicole Sterner Pringle of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Tuesday March 7, 2017 after being hit by a car in Trenton, NJ. She was 39.
Born in Bristol, PA, a daughter of Stephen R. and Lynn Malcolm Sterner, she was a lifelong area resident. She was graduated from Pennsbury High School, Class of 1997.
Lea's life was being a devoted, proud, and wonderful mother to her children. She will always be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Pringle; her son, Chase and daughter, Alexa; her parents, Stephen and Lynn Sterner; brother, Stephen D. Sterner, and sister, Laura Iafelice.
Funeral services will be at 11am Saturday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lea Pringle Childrens' Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
