Snow Day Friday For Neshaminy Schools Due To Weather Warning
A winter storm warning begins at 4 a.m. Friday, as parts of the Philadelphia metro could get 4 to 6 inches of snow.
LANGHORNE, PA — Neshaminy Schools will have a snow day on Friday, due to an incoming snowstorm that could make travel conditions dangerous for staff and students.
"District schools and offices will be closed," the district said in Facebook post. "There will be no online learning expectations. Stay safe and enjoy the day!"
Forecasters issued a winter storm warning in Lower Bucks County beginning at 4 a.m. Friday and lasting until 10 p.m. Snowfall is scheduled to begin Friday morning and could bring 4 to 6 inches of accumulation.

The National Weather Service advised people in the Philadelphia metro area to avoid driving on Friday, "as road conditions will deteriorate as the day progresses."
The metro area has not had a winter storm warning since Jan. 29, 2022, so it has been close to two years since there have been significant impacts from snow in the area.
