LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Polls are open Tuesday in the special 140th Legislative District election.
Bucks County officials, who announced a two-hour delay for opening all county offices, said the election is not impacted by the storm Tuesday.
"Today’s delay does not apply to the special election in the 140th PA Legislative District," County spokesman James T. O'Malley said.

What you need to know about the special election
Tuesday's election pits Republican Candace Cabanas, a Falls Township native, against Democrat Jim Prokopiak, a Pennsbury School Board member and former Falls Township supervisor.
The 140th District includes 33 voting precincts across Morrisville Borough, Tullytown Borough, Falls Township, and some of Middletown Township.
The Pennsbury School District is giving students the day off Tuesday since many of its schools are used as polling places.
State Rep. John Galloway's resignation in mid-December to become the Magisterial District Justice for Falls Township, split the PA House 101-101 between Democrats and Republicans.
But then on Friday, State Rep. Joe Adams (R-Pike/Wayne) announced that he is resigning from his position representing the 139th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. There will be a special election for his seat sometime in the future.
That means that Democrats once again hold control of the House, 101-100. A Republican victory would once again split the House.
