Spring Cleaning? Get Free Bulk Disposal In Falls

Get rid of bulky trash items, yard waste and the like for free at the event for Falls Township and Tullytown Borough residents next month.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Do you have big spring cleaning plans in the coming weeks? If so, Falls Township wants to help you get rid of the clutter with a free bulk disposal day.

The event is set for 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at the GROWS landfill at 1000 New Ford Mill Rd. in Falls. It is open to residents of Falls Township and Tullytown Borough and proof of residency will be required.

Commercial customers or contractors will not be accepted.

On free bulk disposal day, you can drop off bulky waste items, yard waste, appliances and the like at no charge.

The following items will not be accepted, according to Falls Township officials:

  • Liquids, oils or paint
  • car batteries
  • propane tanks or gas cylinders
  • hazardous household waste
  • tires
  • chemicals, pesticides and spray cans
  • Refrigerators, air conditioners or freezers
  • Electronics, including TVs, computers, stereos
  • Items that operate on batteries
