St. Mary Medical Center Nurses Reach New Deal
St. Mary United Nurses Union signed a three-year agreement just before planning a picket at the Langhorne hospital.
LANGHORNE, PA — They had planned a picket for Wednesday. But that picket at St. Mary Medical Center was cancelled after nurses reached a new deal on a contract.
The St. Mary United Nurses Union has reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract. The nurses were planning an informational picket.
In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, 630 frontline nurses at St. Mary Medical Center came together to reach their second contract with hospital management. Officials said the informational picket is being replaced with a ratification vote.

The St. Mary United Nurses Union is an affiliate of PASNAP, the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, which represents more than 11,000 frontline healthcare workers across the commonwealth.
