State Rep. Hogan Begins 2nd Term In 142nd Legislative District

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —State Rep. Joe Hogan has begun his second term as state representative of the 142nd Legislative District.

Hogan was sworn in recently for his second term serving the residents of the district, which includes Lower Southampton Township, Langhorne Manor, Langhorne Borough, Penndel Borough, and parts of Middletown and Northampton townships.

The Republican incumbent defeated Democrat Anna Payne, a Middletown Township supervisor, in the November general election.

Hogan received 20,668 votes (54.52 percent) while Payne received 17,183 votes (45.33 percent). There were 56 write-in votes.

“It is an honor to be back in Harrisburg to represent the 142nd District,” Hogan said. “I will continue to fight for the common sense measures I fought for in my first term, like supporting working parents, fighting for early childhood education, and supporting our schools.”

Hogan lives in Langhorne with his wife Janita and his newborn daughter, Asha.

Before becoming a state representative in 2022, he was a member of Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick’s Washington, D.C. staff and the program administrator for the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Bucks (BCRDA).
