LEVITTOWN, PA —Citing her “legislative accomplishments including passing the child and dependent care tax credit out of the House” State Representative Tina M. Davis announced Tuesday that she will seek re-election in the 141st Legislative District.

“I am proud and honored to work for the families of Lower Bucks County,” the Democrat said. “I will continue to fight for better pay, better schools, and a secure retirement so seniors aren’t forced out of their homes due to increasing property taxes.”

The 141st Legislative District includes Bristol Township, Bristol Borough, Hulmeville, Penndel, and part of Middletown Township.

As the Democratic Caucus Secretary in Harrisburg, Davis is at the forefront of legislative efforts to improve education in Pennsylvania. She recently voted to increase funding for state colleges and universities as well as career and technical training.

“Our state colleges and universities are critical to the future,” Davis said. “Career and technical training for young people going into the workforce is vital not only for them but for our economy, as well.”

Davis led the way on legislative issues including protecting consumers from junk fees added
to concert and sporting event tickets, saving renters from unnecessary fees, and protecting
incarcerated women from abuse. Davis consistently stood up for a woman’s right to an
abortion.

Davis is kicking off her campaign with a free petition-signing event at the Bristol Township
Senior Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

A second petition-signing event will be held at the same location from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3.

All are welcome although only registered Democrats who are residents of Bristol Township or
Bristol Borough are permitted to sign Davis’s official petition to appear on the April 23rd
Democratic Primary ballot.

Light refreshments will be served.

Davis is a lifelong Democrat who lives in Croydon with her husband Jim, a small business
owner. They have three children. She is a graduate of LaSalle University.
