MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Motorists should expect lane closures all week starting Monday for a stretch of Route 213 as part of a stormwater improvements project.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today that stormwater improvements are planned next week on state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties, under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management and facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of lane closures on Monday, Jan. 29, through Friday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following location:

- Route 213 (Maple Avenue) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way in Middletown Township.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
