Stormwater Improvements Planned In Middletown Twp.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Stormwater improvements are planned this week in the township, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that stormwater improvements are planned on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

- Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Route 213 (Maple Avenue/Old Lincoln Highway) between Wheeler Way and Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
