Strong-Arm Robbery Reported At Bucks County Library Branch

An alleged video game thief is being sought by police in Lower Makefield Township.

A strong-arm robbery at the Yardley Branch of the Bucks County Free Library is under investigation by authorities in Lower Makefield Township.

According to police, a man entered the library on Saturday and applied for a library card using fictitious information. He tried to check out numerous video games, and the staff caught him putting some of the games in his pockets, police said.

When confronted, the man grabbed several games from the clerk’s hand and ran out of the library, police said.

He was wearing a grey and black Phillies cap and blue sneakers. He had a goatee, police said.
