Tall Ship Of Delaware Docked In Bristol Borough
The Kalmar Nyckel is among Saturday's highlights, which include the 55th Annual Mill Street Run and the 40th Annual Italian Day Festival.
BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA —Bristol Borough will be buzzing with activity on Saturday with a triple-header of events, including the return of a historic ship docked along the Delaware River.
First off, the 55th Annual Mill Street Run gets going out of the gate at 8 a.m.
The event has been a borough tradition since 1967 when John Mundy organized a competition for local athletes.

When the race ends, the feast begins.
The Bristol Lions Club will be holding its 40th annual Italian Day Festival from Noon to 6 p.m. along the Bristol waterfront. The free event along Mill and Radcliffe streets features music, crafts, rides, and food.

The Restaurant at the Bucks County Technical High School said it measured, cooked, and cut 400 lbs. of Italian sausage for the festival's sausage and peppers, an event highlight.
There's also free admission and free parking for the festival.
While the race and festival are truly traditions, some history will be on display along the Delaware River.
The famous tall ship Kalmar Nyckel is docked through Sunday.
The ship arrived at the Bristol Borough Wharf on Friday and is offering two-hour sails and deck tours.
River cruises are scheduled for 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday and Sunday with an additional cruise from 3-5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $50 for adults and $35 for children ages 12 and under.
Deck Tours are from 1-6 p.m. Saturday. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and children ages 3 and under get in free.
The ship is a recreation of the original Dutch-built merchant vessel that laid the foundation for New Sweden, the Delaware Valley’s first European settlement. Click here to learn more about the ship.
