Troop 82's Francis Anthony Walter III Earns Eagle Rank
Eagle Scout Francis Walter completed a service project at Middletown Township Veterans Park in Levittown.

Francis Anthony Walter III is Troop 82’s newest Eagle Scout. His Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project, Veterans Memorial Park Forest Rehabilitation, took place at Middletown Township Veterans Memorial Park. He and his volunteers created a 100 walking path and scenic respite area with the addition of benches and birdhouses adjacent to the park on Veterans Highway in Levittown.
Along his trail to Eagle Francis has served the troop, which is chartered by Our Lady of Grace Parish, as Den Chief, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Guide and Senior Patrol Leader. He has been active with his troop participating in weekend campouts, annual summer camp and completing a 50 mile backpack and kayaking experience. Francis has earned all four of the Catholic Committee on Scouting Awards- Light of Christ, Parvuli Dei, Ad Altare Dei and the archdiocesan Pope Pius XII Award.
The son of Kathleen and Joe Seborowski of Langhorne, Francis is a 2016 graduate of Archbishop Wood High School where he earned the President’s Silver Award of Excellence. Francis was a member of the Stage Crew, serving as president his senior year. He also participated in Community Service Corps, Pro-Life Club and Health Occupations Students of America. He was chosen by Envision for their National Youth Leadership Forum Medicine Experience at Johns Hopkins University. Francis was awarded the Middletown Township Foundation Scholarship and the Philadelphia Foundation, Mervyn Sluizer, Jr. Scholarship. He will be studying Neuroscience at University of Scranton with plans to attend medical school.
