LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —New details are emerging about Justin Mohn, the Bucks County man charged with the first-degree murder of his father. Authorities said Mohn, a Penn State graduate who attended the Neshaminy School District, decapitated his father while videoing it in their Levittown home Tuesday.

His lengthy video tirade —which has since been taken down from YouTube due to violating policies after the man was charged with his father's death in Middletown Township —railed against the government.

In that video, the Levittown man calls for citizens to attack federal workers, kill federal law enforcement, and attack journalists. He cited the name and address of a judge and ranted about President Joseph Biden and other high-ranking federal officials. He complained about immigrants coming into the country illegally.

Some of the seven book titles included names like "The Kingdom of Darkness," "The Second Messiah: King of Earth," "Dark Ages of the Future," "They Will Burn This Book," "The Punishing," and "The Revolution Leader's Survival Guide."

That last book is described on Amazon.com as a revolutionary, non-fiction book about the constraints against education, creativity, and human progress throughout history until today and what we can do to stop this problem. The author views the world on the brink of either a Golden Age of world peace and space colonization or instead, a second Dark Age of global wars and depopulation... within the next couple decades, if not sooner.

In a profile on the online marketplace, he says his "life story is unbelievable and there may not be enough words to describe him, but one may begin to understand his complexity and experiences through his art. He only wishes to bring positive change to the world."

Lawsuits against the government

Mohn faces first-degree murder charges, abuse of a corpse, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. Authorities have charged him with killing his father on Tuesday night at their Middletown Township home, beheading him, and posting a video showing the decapitation on YouTube.

The 2014 graduate of Penn State University also sued the government four times for allowing him to take out student loan debt that he had to repay. His claims centered on his years-long inability to find a good-paying job, and he asked for $10 million.

His federal civil action suit —Justin Mohn vs. United States of America —states that since 2022, Mohn has sued the U.S. Department of Education secretary Miguel Cordona and the U.S. Department of Education twice, and last year the U.S. Attorney’s Office and The Attorney General of the United States.

The court dismissed all the suits, which Mohn filed in which he represented himself.

U.S. Judge Mark Kearney wrote that Mohn’s arguments in his latest suit were similar to ones the court previously dismissed.

The court case states that Mohn was returning for the fourth time pro se to sue the United States for allowing him to borrow money to attend college without advising him he may not find satisfactory work as an overeducated white man almost 10 years later.

He once participated in Neshaminy's 'Mr. Redskin' competition

One case stated that Mohn had trouble finding a job after college, and moved to Colorado to work at a credit union and insurance company. Another federal court filing said he had interactions with the Colorado Springs Police Department due to “domestic issues” at an apartment he shared with roommates.

He alleged in the suits that the financial burden caused by the negligent loan, he would not have been forced to live paycheck-to-paycheck, leading him to financial injury and emotional and mental distress, the court case stated.

"We dismiss his negligence complaint with prejudice after he has now tried twice to plead a negligence claim where the United States as a lender has no duty to him and further amendments would be futile," the judge ruled.

A search of court records for Mohn found no prior criminal history in Bucks County.

Mohn graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2010.

In the April 2010 edition of the Neshaminy High School student newspaper, The Playwickian, Mohn is quoted in a front-page article about his participation in the "Mr. Redskin" competition.

His reply: "To end world hunger."
