Woman Found Dead In Wooded Area In Bristol Township

Bristol Township Police said the 44-year-old woman's death Wednesday morning off Route 13 is under investigation.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bristol Township Police Department is investigating the death of a woman found in a wooded area on Wednesday morning.

Around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, Bristol Township Police said they were summoned along with emergency medical rescue personnel to a wooded area in the 5000 block of Bristol Pike, Lt Sean Cosgrove said.

Authorities found an unresponsive adult female in the wooded area off of the northbound travel lanes of Bristol Pike (Route 13) between Beaver Dam Road and Green Lane.

EMS pronounced the woman dead on the scene.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office was also called to the scene.
