Youth Center Escapee Captured While 'Blending In' At Bucks Carnival
State Police said a Tullytown police officer spotted the Reading teenager Monday night. A second teen escapee is still on the run.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —One of the two escapees from a Berks County youth detention center was captured while trying to blend in at a Tullytown carnival, police said.
Tyler Lutz, 18, of Reading, was taken into custody Monday evening after being spotted by a Tullytown Borough police officer, Pennsylvania State Police said.
State Police said he was trying to blend in with carnival employees and was taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. without incident. Lutz was being held as of Tuesday at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Lutz and Dustin Lomas, 16, of Bristol Township, climbed a fence and escaped from the Abraxas Academy in New Morgan, Berks County, at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
Lomas is still on the run and considered to be in the Levittown area, state police said.

Lomas is described as wearing a blue hoodie, white T-shirt, and blue sweatpants at the time of his escape, state police said.
The Abraxas Academy, which is a little more than an hour away from Bucks County, offers programs for “delinquent” teen boys aged 14 to 18 who have exhibited “consistent delinquent patterns through multiple placements, serious charges, and problematic behaviors,” its website states.
