• Former Federal Prosecutor in Union County Charged After Pennsylvania State Police Say He Exchanged Nude Images With an Underage Girl in Kelly Township (centralrecorder.com) — A 75-year-old Lewisburg man and former volunteer assistant district attorney is charged with unlawful contact with a minor and related offenses after state police say he exchanged nude images with an underage girl. Investigators searched a Kelly Township home, seized electronic devices for forensic review, and Union County's district attorney has removed him from his local role.
   

• EBT to vote on data center ordinance Oct. 12 (dailyitem.com) — East Buffalo Township officials are set to finalize new rules for large and small data centers at a public hearing on Oct. 12 at 589 Fairground Road in Lewisburg. Residents can weigh in before supervisors vote on zoning limits that could affect major sites like Giant, the Miller Center, and Lewisburg Liquidation Center.
   

• Lions topple Bucknell, 3-0 (lewistownsentinel.com) — Bucknell field hockey fans in Lewisburg saw the Bison fall 3–0 to Penn State at Graham Field, where the visitors controlled play and limited Bucknell's chances. The Nittany Lions dominated shots and penalty corners, with junior Ella Gaitan scoring twice and their defense allowing just four Bison shots all night.
