2 Injured After Truck Flips On Route 422 In Upper Providence

At least two people were injured after a crash in the wet conditions on Route 422 Monday afternoon.

UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — At least two people were injured after a truck flipped over on Route 422 on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred near mile marker 185.4 at around 2:30 p.m., according to Montco Fire Wire, near the Troutman Road Underpass.

It's not yet clear if other vehicles were involved in the crash.

At least two people were rescued from the truck after it flipped, authorities said. Both were taken to a nearby hospital.

The Lower Providence Community Center Ambulance was among the units responding to the scene.

Eastbound traffic was stop and go for around an hour after the crash as the accident was cleared.
