422 To Be Shut Down In Multiple Places Next Week
Several different construction projects will be going on along U.S. 422 next week.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Several different construction projects will be going on along U.S. 422 next week, PennDOT announced.
Lane closures and a full shut down will impact the road from the Upper Providence area out to Douglass Township.
The full shut down will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 9 p.m. to midnight in the eastbound lanes, from Benjamin Franklin Highway to the Stowe interchange in West Pottsgrove. Motorists will be detoured to High Street and Grosstown Road.

From midnight to 5 a.m., westbound 422 will be closed along the same stretch, with motorists detoured to High Street.
The road will be reduced to a single lane eastbound from 10 a.m. on Oct. 18 to 5 a.m. on Oct. 21 from Airport Road to Township Line Road in Limerick.

Nearby, there are several streets that will be impacted by bridge construction.
Lane closures are set on Evergreen Road between Lightcap Road and Rupert Road on all weekdays, Oct. 14 through Oct. 18, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., all of next week, lane restrictions will occur on Troutman Road between Ashenfelter Road and Groff Circle in Upper Providence.
From 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Oct. 14 through Oct. 19, lanes will be shut down on Lewis Road between Linfield and Linfield Trappe Road for painting work.
Finally, restrictions will be in place from Oct. 16 through Oct. 17, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Airport Road from Lightcap Road to Commerce Court.
Motorists should plan for delays and consider alternate routes.
