UPDATE: Tracking 422 Traffic, Accidents On Black Friday
Early morning shoppers and multiple accidents near Limerick Outlets and Providence Town Center brought traffic to a standstill on U.S. 422.

Updated 12:26 p.m. An accident was reported on the Limerick Center Road underpass on 422 just after 11:30 p.m.
10:58 a.m. Two more accidents have been reported on 422. In Limerick at the westbound ramp to Evergreen Road, according to Montco Active incidents. The crash occurred at about 10:46 a.m. Then, at 10:58 a.m., an accident occurred at the Armand Hammer westbound ramp in Lower Pottsgrove.
No injuries have been reported in either case, and an EMS has not been dispatched to either scene.

According to eyewitness reports, the Sanatoga exit of 422 was backed up for at least a mile it each direction as early as 11 p.m.
Multiple accidents contributed to the jam up. Crashes were reported at the ramp at Route 29 in Upper Providence, the Township Line Road ramp in Limerick, and Armand Hammer Boulevard.
Traffic Facebook page 422 Sucks also reported a "nasty accident" at around 8:15 a.m. near Lightcap Road at the outlets.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area.
