Two public meetings tonight will feature issues that we've recently covered on Patch.
The Spring-Ford Area School District will meet at 7:30pm in the cafeteria of Spring-Ford High School. The agenda includes the approval of two extracurricular contracts for faculty members Lisa Pupo and Cheryl Murgia in the amount of $201 each. Pupo and Murgia are the advisors to the new Gay-Straight Student Alliance, which began meeting last October.
The group for their extracurricular application to be approved. Questions over whether funding existed and whether groups that had previously been denied funding might receive precedence were resolved last week when Dr. Marsha Hurda, the district superintendent, announced that for the Gay-Straight Student Alliance and two other groups.

In Royersford, the Borough Council will meet for the first time since borough manager Mike Leonard and other Spring-Ford area officials were to the state-maintained bridge (pictured) that connects Royersford and Spring City.
We'll have reports from both meetings on Patch tomorrow.
