UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — The closure of Cider Mill Road began Monday in Upper Providence Township and is expected to last for three weeks, effecting significant changes to the traffic flow of the area.
The closure applies to all vehicles, including emergency service vehicles, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It impacts Cider Mill Road from the crossing of the Perkiomen Trail at Arcola Road bridge all the way to Minuteman Drive.
Police said the contractor plans to leave the road open overnight and on the weekends.
Drivers in the area should plan for delays and alternate routes.
